Demo database (Sakila database)
(You can skip this information if you do not intend to install the demo database)

The Sakila database is available for each Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) in the install/demo-database/ directory.

The Sakila database is a demonstration database, using a complete and extensive schema.

If you want to learn about PHP CRUD Generator before using it with your own database:

  1. Install the Sakila database using the provided SQL files.
  2. Then restart the installation of PHP CRUD Generator, and enter the details of your Sakila database in step 2.
  3. Once installed, run the CRUD Generator, test and generate the different parts of the admin dashboard.
  4. When you want to reinstall to work on your own database, simply click on the "Reset" button of the CRUD Generator.This will delete all files related to the Sakila database, and start a new blank installation.
